Chronicles of Yarnia is a small crochet business in Kingston, Jamaica, founded by Cara Alyssa Bain and Jayda Elizabeth Jones. We make ready-made pieces — scrunchies, headbands, keyrings, and wrist bands — with care, color, and intention.

Jayda is 14 years old and loves swimming and singing. She attends L.I.F.E Academy. She says, “Believe in yourself, don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something.”

Chronicles of Yarnia started when Cara and Jayda turned a shared love of crochet into a small business built on grace, creativity, and community. Every piece is handmade in Kingston and ready for pieces that feel personal, not mass-produced.
